Sandown Racecourse was designed by JMA Architects. The project involved upgrading and refurbishing eight bars across the facility, as well as refurbishing the grandstand seating and entrance areas. The project also included the construction of a brand-new members bar called Past the Post. The construction was completed while the racecourse was still in operation, requiring careful coordination and planning. In addition to the upgrades to the bars and seating areas, the mechanical services for the entire facility were also upgraded, as well as an upgrade of the existing roof. Major lighting upgrades were also made to enhance the overall experience for visitors. The project was completed within 18 weeks and marks the second successful project completed with Melbourne Racing Club.
