Five years strong: LSR’s 2024 recap

As 2024 winds down, we’re taking stock of what’s been a huge year for LSR Construction Group. This year marked our fifth anniversary, a milestone that’s given us the chance to reflect on how far we’ve come, from starting out with projects worth $100k to now taking on builds valued up to $20 million. It’s been a path of steady progress, supported by our growing team and the strong relationships we’ve built along the way.

In 2024, we completed 12 projects, from purpose-built facilities for Cookers Bulk Oil and Waproo to a cutting-edge Blue H2O facility for BHF Technologies. These projects reflect what we’re all about—delivering innovative construction solutions with precision and a commitment to achieving our clients’ goals.

We also continued our work with longstanding partners like Connect Plus Property Group, Brix Property Group and JMA Architects, while building new relationships with design teams like Made For Studio. These ongoing partnerships enable us to tap into expert knowledge and shared insights, ensuring every project benefits from a collaborative approach.

Our team is what drives everything we do, and this year we celebrated some important milestones. Our Pre-Delivery Coordinator Dillon Holmes hit four years, while Project Manager Arielle Cathcart and Site Manager Kallan Smyth both marked three years with us.

Whether it’s supporting personal development or giving people opportunities to take on new challenges, we’re proud of the culture we’ve built over these last five years. It’s one that values teamwork and building strong relationships, both on and off-site.

A highlight of 2024 has been moving into our new South Melbourne headquarters. Designed by Made For Studio and built by us, the new workspace reflects both where we are now as a company and where we’re heading. It’s a flexible and collaborative space built to grow with us as we continue to take on even more ambitious projects.

With 7 projects currently underway and 2 more secured this year, from manufacturing facilities to business parks and warehousing, 2025 is already shaping up to be another exciting year. We’ve laid solid foundations (literally and figuratively) and are ready to tackle whatever comes next with the same focus, energy and commitment that’s got us this far.
